In Topic this week we have been learning about the main organs in the body and what they do. Yesterday we were learning about the lungs and how they work. Miss Rendall made a model lung so we could see how they work. We learned that lungs fill when the space around them expands and empty when the space gets smaller. We know when we breathe we breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide as our body doesn't need it.
