We finished our Shape block yesterday by learning all about symmetry. We started by completing pictures on the Smart Board to make the shape symmetrical. We talked about how this means they are exactly the same on each side and how we sometimes call this a mirror image.
We then used a sheet with lots of houses which had been cut in half. We had to cut them out and them match them up so we had 4 houses which were symmetrical.
