Last Thursday we had a special Tanzanian lunch at school because Tanzania is one of Orkney's Second Teams in the Commonwealth Games. A blog has been created to share all the different things that are happening around Orkney in the lead up to the Games.
Our menu for the day
We had a special treat when Mrs Holt came to have lunch with us dressed in traditional African clothing.
Tanzanian beef stew, egg fried rice and braised cabbage. A big thumbs up from P2!
Baked bananas and ice cream - yum!
A big thank you to all the ladies in the kitchen for all their hard work on Thursday - we really appreciated it!
